At Paley Library

So Olivia is at Temple University. What a wonderful place to be. So far I enjoy it here. I've been to two parties and a concert already (Keri Hilson and The Dream performed). I've been to all my classes, met all my teachers and finally got a roommate. My eyes are grey again for the time being, my suite mates are hella coolio and my laptop still isn't ready yet. I am wearing my blue dinosaur tee shirt from Charlotte Russe and my plaid Converses from Foot Locker. I went to go look for a job todaythen my mother said that I didn't need to because she was working some things out for me. Yesterday I spent almost $300 on books, and I still need two more. From now on, I will be getting my books off of Amazon.com because even new, unsued books are cheaper there.

Temple is coolio nontheless. The campus is beautiful and diverse and they offer so much: 130 majors to choose from plus concentrations and such, over 200 clubs and organizations, great teachers and the fast pacedness of city life. I like my teachers so far. My Anthropology teacher is hilarious. She's a sweet lady named Anastassia (Khloe, Russia!) who is very lively and vibrant. My English teacher is Mr. Williams and he's this shortish Black guy who is also hilarious. The class is called Representing Race. My Theatre teacher is Ms. Debra Block a.k.a. D-Block. She's coolio I guess and it just bothers me that we are going to see so many plays. I'm actually kinda worried about it. My Psych teacher seems normal. He got upset yesterday after some students laughed when he said this about texting and driving: "People die!" I looked through the textbook last night and realised that I did all of this stuff last year. Thank you Mrs. Church! So psych will just be a review. As will Physics. My Physucs teacher and class is Mr. Hickey Sr. all over again minus the fact that my current Physics teacher seems slightly messed up in the head, but only in the was that a person who has spend the bulk part of their life teaching Physics would be. He's an Indian man named Zameer who strongly dislikes being called 'sir' because to him it is usually followed by a '$130 traffic violation ticket.' What joy. But he seems to be a good teacher. He didn't give us the syllabus ahead of time becaue he wanted us to discuss the syllabus first. Basiclly, we made up what type of tests we will have (non-cumulative multiple choice) and how many we will have in the semester (4). Fun stuff. Plus his teaching is kinda like Hickey (like the fact that we need not memorise formulas as they will be written down for us during tests) except that he really doesn't use the textbook.

In other news, there is a football game tomorrow: Temple vs. Villanova. Oh yes. My first college football game. I can't wait for the one against Penn State because then I get to see Matt from Schuyler. Then George, who goes to Arcadi, is coming to stay with me on Friday. This should be fun as George is a hilarious person. Carolyn and Judith would love her.

I am hungry. But I will wait until after my class to get lunch. At 2 I have Dramatic Imagination which is my theatre class. I just realised that i failed to bring the text with my but alas, I am too lazy to go back for it even though I have enough time. I think I'll just continue reading this book (Pride and Prejudive and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith) as I sit outside of my class waiting eagerly for the doors to open. <-- Nevermind the words after waiting.

Fwd: The Goddess Is Stuck [Pt. 2]

****This is late due to email problems....smh****

So I've decide to stop the flattery once and for all. Look mister. No longer will you tell me all these sweet nothings. No longer will you say things that make my stomach flutter. I am putting an end to it. What freedom. LMAO.

Yea, this is gonna be a short post because I have no drive to write anymore. I'm gonna do some reading and then i'll leave in a bit since my boss left already.

A Lyrical Genious

OK. So I have no idea how I came to know about this artist. Maybe it was after
Woody blogged about his Michael Jackson commemorative album. Or maybe it was when I was watching the teaser for some Demevolist/M.G.M. related mixtape. How I came across this lyrical wonder doesn't really matter when you hear his music. Esso a.k.a Esso McFly is one of the hottest new upcoming artists popping. His style is quite dope and his music is doper. Esso is featured in the September issue of XXL's Show and Prove section. Whoever you are, you need to listen to Esso's music.

Here's the latest free mixtape he's put out, a tribute to MJ's Off The Wall. Click the album cover to download.

Esso has also filmed a video for 'Don't Stop'.

Esso Is a hot artist that anyone with proper lyrical hip hop appreciation will love and appreciate. Check out his music, his blog and him. You will not be let down.

The Goddess Is Stuck [Pt. 1]

Ok. So he says the sweetest things you've ever heard in your life to you. "What a privilege it is to behold your amazing, un-Earthly beauty." "Oh, what a goddess you are." I've always felt that these are lines that come from people that you should stay away from because they turn into creeper/stalker exes or rejects. Now, it is very easy to be drawn in by the words of such people- sweet talkers, we call them- because they make you feel extremely good about yourself. They might even have you saying and doing things that you might not normally do with any other person. THIS IS BAD. No person should have you head over heels like that. As a matter of fact, you should not allow anyone to say such things to you because they will leave you with a false sense of self. If you are 27 years old and have never had a boyfriend because nobody wanted to date you and no one thought that you were worth looking at, then some man pops out of the deep blue ocean and tells you that you are the most beautiful creature on the face of the Earth and that you should be worshiped, THERE'S A PROBLEM. Either he is lying to you as a way of coaxing you to get with him, or you were wearing some type of facial cloaking device for 27 years. But then again, even if you look like Angelina or some other such celebrity beauty, you should be wary of guys saying such insanely flattering things to you, especially if they don't know you that well personally.

Such is my plight. Because I have let this flattery go on for so long, I am afraid to let him know that i am not interested in him. Mainly because he might end up being one of those crazy creeper/stalker people I mentioned earlier. What makes it even worse is that its my neighbor. Now I am partially at fault for this because I allowed it to happen. But this goes to show you why  you shouldn't engage such behavior. It is addicting to have someone say things like this to you so its best not to follow my previous footsteps and stay away from such men.

I am at work now so I will have the second installment of this topic up tomorrow.

It's been a While

I have really neglected this blog. Not that many people follow it but some people have asked. I wrote a poem tonight/ this morning. Its the first poem I've written in about four or five months. It was about a thunder storm. I only wrote it because a friend asked me to. Here it is.
The Midnight Storm

Matchless infinite splendor
Fill my eyes as I look up
Into the dark sea that is the night sky
I wonder about the many entities
That this beautiful sea holds
In it's mysterious waves
A cloud rolls in
Then another
Soon this sea is filled
With dark, mysterious clouds
I hear a loud noise in the distance
A storm
I lay and wait,
Looking up at the sea
Then a drop falls upon my forehead
Then another and another
A light flashes, the booming sound is closer now
I get excited
A storm
As the wind picks up
And the rain falls in torrents
I lay on the wet grass and smile
Lightening flashes, illuminating the area around me
Thunder, lightening, rain and wind
Heavy, pregnant clouds producing
The most beautiful midnight storm

I enjoyed writing it... And it only took me all of about 5 minutes. Freestyle poetry. I don't even know how I got it done because I usually don't write very well when asked to write. I usually have to be in the mood. I guess my brain decided that I needed to write something.

In other news, I love music. Not that you don't already know that. But I have been falling in love for the first time and again with these old school (and pre-2005) rappers and some new upcoming, unsigned, unknown hypes. A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Talib Kweli, Proven, B-Shaa Akori and Meth and Red just to name a few. I sat at home for most of the day yesterday and just listened to music. I completed my Common discography and discovered that one of my classmates from jr. high has a great old school, 90's, almost Kid' n' Play flow (B-Shaa).
Now I have just come to realize that I have about four junior high school classmates/ friends who are aspiring artists: Sahir, Branden, Elwin and Dudley. These guys have potential to go far in the music world. I'm actually really hype about B-shaa (Branden). Even though I've only heard one song and a few beats from him, I see potential. I think that the people like me who value old school, 90's rap will embrace him. Even though throwback flows aren't the mainstream, you have to realize that artists make music for a certain audience: the audience that appreciates their style of music. His music may not appeal to the "Stanky Leg, Booty Dew, Soulja Boy" appreciators audience but it will reach the fundamental, old school lovers.
Dudley, I have spoken about. D.Julien. His music is real. Dope. Coolio. He doesn't profess to be a gangster. He doesn't rap about crimes, money, cars or hoes. Just about real things that go on in life. THIS is what real rap is supposed to be. He has a modern flow that is nice and his lyrics are on point. He doesn't pull a Weezy and add in random BS to fill up bar space. Every bar has a meaning. He can make it in the music world.
Sahir (City) and Elwin (Don Jay) have a little more ways to go but I see great potential in these two. City's flow has gotten better since two years ago and his beats are on point. Don Jay has a great delivery and smooth lyrics. I really look forward to seeing these two progress and develop into great artists.
On to my N.I. Proven. I've liked him ever since I heard him on the Demev tape First Order of Business on the song 'Talk About Me'. He's an amazing artist with a great flow, dope lyrics and a smooth delivery. He just put out a solo mixtape called Napoleon's Complex. It is honestly one of the best solo mixtapes that I've heard in a while. I bump that shxt on a daily basis. All the songs are good but my favourite ones are Prove Love, Enjoy The Moment ft B/A, One Night, Murdered and So High. Even though these are my favourite, all the songs are worth listening to. He has a new tape coming out soon called Aviator. I got a little sneak preview of a few songs that are gonna be on it on Saturday. Me and my P.I.C. (partner in crime), Green, went to see him up in Harlem on Saturday. It was a very short visit as it was very late and trains had to be caught but it was coolio. He's hella coolio. Just a normal guy and such. Green is in love with him now..... And she is catching on the the likes of my musical taste. I'm glad I can share it with someone. Well, I've asked Prove to let me sing on a tack one day. Hopefully that day comes soon. I've been frikking dying to record a track and even if its not my own , I'd be happy.

Everyone over the age of 17 with a valid ID must see The Hangover. You know those comedies that have you laughing at certain parts every now and again? We Hangover isn't that. Hangover will have you laughing like a fool in the movie theatre ever minute of the movie. Some people say that its overrated. It is not. It is absolutely amazing. A must see, along with Year One, or so I hear.

Well, the sun is rising and the children wake up in like a half hour or so to get ready for school so I best be heading off to sleepy world. I'll post properly this summer.

Poetry Is....

I haven't updated in a while so I have an essay for you. Its nice. Got me a B+.

I believe that poetry is everything and anything. Some people say that poetry is art. Some say that poetry is an escape or a mouthpiece for emotions. Poetry is all that and so much more. Poetry is speech to the dumb, eyes to the emotionally blind and nerves for the paralytic. Poetry allows people to live and give life to abstract things.
In “homage to my hips” by Lucille Clifton, the speaker aggrandizes her hips. She tells us that her hips are big and free. “they don’t fit into little petty places. these hips are free hips. they don’t like to be held back. This is what poetry is. Poetry is unrestricted. It is made big by the amount of feeling, emotion and meaning that it should contain. Poetry is not planned and cannot thrive when it is restricted. “they do what they want to do.” As a reader, you cannot tell poetry what to do and what feelings to beckon. After the pen leaves the paper the poem can do whatever it wishes like a person who is not enslaved. “these hips are magic hips. i have known them to put a spell on a man…” Poetry is magic. It can put a spell on you that will allow you to feel the emotions of the poet, bring back memories or understand the poet and even yourself a little more.
Archibald Macleish said that “Poetry should be equal to: not true.” At first glance, you would think that equal and true mean the same thing. But, alas, they have different meanings. One USD is equal to, but not the same as, around 70 Jamaican dollars. This is poetry. The poet doesn’t say ‘the flower is red’. Instead the poet says ‘The beautiful crimson coloured bloom.’ They mean the same thing but are not the same thing. “A poem should be motionless in time as the moon climbs.” This is one of my favourite lines in this poem. When you look at a full moon an any given night it seems so stationary but if you walk outside a half an hour later it is in a different spot. Poetry is like this. You might think that the poem isn’t going anywhere but when you look back, you realize how much it moved you and how many feelings it evoked from you. It’s also beautiful and alluring like the moon.
Lastly, “A poem should not mean but be.” This is a valid and profound statement, poetic in itself. Since poetry is the reflection of another human being, it makes sense for it to be. You would walk up to a person and say that they mean. “You mean beautiful” does not make sense. Poetry is like a human in its state of being. “You are beautiful.” Meaning is relative while existing is absolute. Robert Frost will always be Robert Frost (dead or alive). However what he means to every individual is totally different. Poets should focus on the state of the poetry’s being because poetry is so free that they cannot control what it means to each person. Its understanding is to be understood by the reader.
“For Once Then Something by Robert Frost portrays a wonderful meaning and way for a poem to be understood: through humility. You can research and dig and ask as many questions as you would like but if you have a haughty mind state you will not be able to fully understand a poem. According to Frost, only humility will allow you to understand. Humility will reveal the poems meaning and significance.

Rantings, Ravings and Stupid Weather

How horrible and stupid and horrible. I feel that the weather hates me. What other explanation could there be for rain on the only day that I have time to hang out? I wanted to chill with Elz and maybe that girl down the block to whom I speak only when I feel like it (Does that make me a bad friend? Too bad. I know i have issues. Blow mine). Nah but she's coolio. Back on topic. I wanted to hang out with Elz mostly so I can find out why his ass in in trouble and because I kinda have a little crush on him. Oh how sweet.*Shorty's Gonna Be A Thug by 2Pac* I don't even remember how long I've liked him like that but its cool. He's a coolio type of person.. Wavy in his words. He's special.....Anyways, I wanted to chill with him because we haven't chilled since January and that wasn't the most pleasant experience (thanks to an ASC-inducing liquid). Anyways, I'm sad that its raining.
Now I was on FB this morning and I watched a video by one of my friends that I went to jr high with. It kinda pissed me off. Not the content but just the fact that she made a video. Now there's nothing wrong with her making a video. I'm just having some internal issues.(*Why am I having a FB chat with a girl who I don't even like?*) I think I'm only upset at the fact that my camera broke and I cannot make videos on whims like I would like to. *I Love College by Asher Roth (Asleep In The Bread Aisle drops 4/20)* But alas, life goes on.

Hella hours latter...
Back again. Still pretty tight that I couldn't do what I wanted to do today, besides my hair. W/e.

So I've come in contact with many budding people these past few weeks. Proven, Woody, Sha-leik and such. (Demev related obviously) IDK what I'm tryna do. Maybe I'm tryna develop some type of connection to them or something. All I know is that its not on some creeper-groupie-like status. According to Proven, I could be a frikking promotion manager which is not a far stretch from what I do on a day to day basis. I'm always sharing Demev music with whoever will hear it. Only thing is, I'm not getting paid to do it. I will soon though. I'll be minoring in marketing in Temple University. Speaking on college. Temple gave me a gorgeous financial aid package so I will be headed over to Philly in august. YAY!!! Back to Demev. Maybe I can land some type of job type thing with them in the near future. that would be pretty dope. if I was offered a job by one of them, I'd prolly say yes right on the spot. *I'm quite bothered that I am not typing this in full, proper English, but alas.*

Also, I was talking to my buddy Chris earlier and he said that he'd buy a thousand of Charles Hamilton's albums so that he can hand it out to homeless people because everyone deserves to hear Charles. That is how I feel about my general taste in music. Everyone should have the chance to hear, listen to and love the music I love, Demev and Charles included. This is the reason why I share new Demev and Charlie music with all the people I know. I mean, rap music isn't getting any better and these few dudes are our last hope. (Cudi and Asher also) I gotta share the new gospel. Amen.

So I'm hella tired and I'm going to sleep at this present moment.

Until next time,
One, Deuces, Tr3ys.....

James and Alexandra

More play writing. Just something I coughed up in Bible and Psychology....

James: Come on. Just focus. We’re almost done.
Alexandra: Almost done? We have to cut that other part too!
James: If you didn’t move so slowly we’d be done already.
Alexandra: This is my first time actually doing this. I’m not gonna move as fast as you do, James.
James: Ugh. Just hurry up. I have a reservation for us at 8 and we have to get ready. I don’t want the restaurant to cancel it because we’re late.
Alexandra: I know. I know. I’ll just finish this limb and then come upstairs. You can go and start getting ready.
James: Ok. But hurry. I don’t want us to be late.
Alexandra: Ok. Ok. I will.
[Phone rings after JAMES goes upstairs]
Alexandra: Hello...Hello... Is anyone there... Ugh. (Hangs up phone) Stupid crank callers. Now the phone is all bloody. Ugh. I’m done for the night. JAMES!!!
James: (Coming back downstairs) What? I was just going to hop into the shower.
Alexandra: Can you give me a hand and help me put this woman’s ridiculously heavy head in the deep freezer, please? I’ll move the limbs to the other freezer and we’ll just cover the torso. It’s cold enough down here for it not to smell right?
James: Yes. Oh, you’re starting to sound like me. I’m so flattered!!!
Alexandra: Oh please. Just move the damn head. You’re wasting time flattering yourself.
[Half hour later. Walking out the door]
Alexandra: Which car should we take? Camaro or Audi?
James: Audi. By the way, you look absolutely stunning tonight.
Alexandra: Oh, whatever. (Rolls eyes and chuckles) Let’s g—
Stranger: You. You there! My mother is in your basement! Let her out now!
James: (Stepping in front of ALEXANDRA) What are you talking about? Who is your mother?
Stranger: My mother is in your basement! Let her go now!!
Alexandra: (whispers to JAMES) Should I call the police?
James: (To ALEXANDRA) Yea. Tell them to hurry. (To STRANGER) Can you calm down please? Why do you think you mother is in our basement?
Stranger: Because she is! I saw you take her down there! LET HER OUT!!!
[Five minutes later]
Police: What seems to be the problem here?
James: This man came up to while we were leaving and started yelling and saying that his mother was in our basement. He wouldn’t go away.
Stranger: (Yelling hysterically) She’s down there! Go look for yourself! She’s there!
Police: (To JAMES) Can we look; for procedural purposes?
James: Sure. I’ll let you guys in through the garage. It’s faster.
Alexandra: Ugh (Pulls garage door lever while also pulling another lever)
[Fifteen minutes later]
Police: (To STRANGER) Well, sir, we’ve searched the house and your mother is nowhere in there. We’ll have to bring you with us for harassment and disturbance of peace.
Stranger: SHE’S DOWN THERE!!! I know it!!!
Police: Mister, we’ve searched all over. You mother is not here.
Alexandra: (Under her breath) Not in one piece.
Stranger: But—
Police: (To JAMES) I’m so sorry for this.
Alexandra: It’s not your fault. Thank you for coming. There’s one less mentally disturbed person on the street. (Chuckles)
James: Yea. Thanks. Bur we need to get going. We have a reservation that we’re already late for.
Police: Ok. Have a good night.
Stranger: (As police drive away) MY MOTHER!!!
James: Well, technically his mother isn’t in the basement. (Laughs)
Alexandra: Yea. Ha. Just pieces of her.

I'm a Playwrite, Legitly

Just something I wrote for creative writing last night.

***Reproduction art- a reproduced painting
Orifice- An opening in your body, ie mouth, nose, rectum, etc

Just a note: some may find this piece slightly disturbing. Enjoy.

Krait and Michail

Krait: If you only knew what I wanted to do to her. Seriously.
Michail: Like I don’t know already. Who wouldn’t want to do her? I’m sure every guy that has seen her has wanted to.
Krait: No. See you don’t understand. Someone hired me to do her. Like do her do her.
Michail: No one would have to pay me to hit that. (Laughs obnoxiously.)
Krait: Ugh. You really don’t get it do you? I was hired to kill the incompetent whore.
Michail: Oh. You got hire to DO her. Like do her do her? Wow.
Krait: Even though that is exactly what I just said. Yes. And, the person that hired me game me details on how they want it done. Before they showed me her picture I just looked at it as another job. But then, I saw her. I swear the person that hired me knew that I’d enjoy torturing her before I killed her.
Michail: How’d they want you to do her?
Krait: Oh. I just get excited just thinking about it. (Laughs heartily)Well, since she’s always at home in the day, they figured that I should do it then.
Michail: That way there is less chance of witnesses.
Krait: Correct. So, I walk into her kitchen where she is having her morning coffee and reading the New York Times Arts section. I put my gun to the back of her head and I tell her that if she makes any noise I’ll shoot. Then I take her down to her basement that her ex-husband so wonderfully sound proofed.
Michail: Ah. I’m loving this already. No one will hear her screams. Damn, I almost want to be there and see this.
Krait: I would bring you but you know I can’t. But yes, I put her on the couch and tell her to stay there. I go up to the book shelf and take the reproduction art that I took off her wall and put there the night before. Could you imagine the look on her face when she sees that I’ve been in her house already?
Michail: Krait, you have to let me come. I won’t show my face. Please. I have to be there.
Krait: Your face doesn’t matter if she’s going to die anyway. But listen. After that, you remember what I said about all her major orifices?
Michail: Yea.
Krait: Well, I shall do that. I might stretch them out or make a few new ones. Then after she enjoys her time with the reproduction art and the few little statues that she had laying out and about the den, I’m going to pull out the couch into a bed and put her e in the holding compartment. This is where her own choice will determine whether she gets killed or not.
Michail: You’re giving her a choice? Are you kidding me?
Krait: Relax, any choice she makes will result in her death. Anyway, she’ll be in the compartment and I’ll fold it back over her. She’s small enough to fit fairly comfortably in the little space. I’ll tell her that I’m thinking of a number from 1 to 20 and if she guesses close to it, I won’t shoot her.
Michail: Bullshit. You’d never—
Krait: No, listen. After she guesses the number I’ll tell her some random number that is far away from what she guessed because I ‘m not going to think of a number in the first place.
Michail: Give her a sense of hope and then crush it. I like it.
Krait: Of course you do. It’s like one of the best tortures. Then I tell her that it’s too bad that she has to die now. I leave her there with the gun in a little contraption that I made and tested a couple days ago on that old lady on Mullins Road.
Michail: Oh, you’re the one that killed her.
Krait: Yea. I had to test it on someone and her time on Earth was just about up anyway. So the contraption is connected to the couch. I’ll walk out and when she tries to get up, the contraption will go to work and pull the trigger and BANG!! She’s dead. Perfect.
Michail: It really is. I just really wish I can get a go at her before you kill her.
Krait: I know you would, that’s why I had the people that hired me set you up with her for a date set up with her tonight. Well, it’s partly because I need her out the house so I can prepare myself for tomorrow night’s events.
Michail: Sweet. Can you give me a copy of the tape it so I can see? I just want to see her face. Just her face.
Krait: Oh I will. I will Michail.
(Cell phone rings)
Krait: It’s her. Enjoy yourself.
Michail: I sure will. I’ll knock her dead.
[EXIT Krait to street]
Michail: Hey Christina, meet me at the Hilton in a half an hour. You’re going to have the best time of your life. You’ll remember it till the day you die.

Twins, Batman, New Faces and Quail Man

Oh how sweet and beautiful and similar. What a wonderful week it has been and will continue to be. SBS Spirit Week. I swear, this is the week that is the most looked forward to, besides that last week of school of course.*Life by D.Julien* The non-dress code days, class dinners and challenges (Seniors will win) and Faculty Follies. Yesterday, Twin Day, all the seniors dressed alike: all black with white shirts. We were beautifully alike in our class spirit (which we haven't had since 9th grade). There were only a few retards misfits that decided to be odd and didn't cooperate with our plan of unification. *Can I Get A Fkk You by Jay-Z and Snow*
Today was SuperHero/Villain Day. I was very excited to put my Six Flags Batman cape into action and become the Female Batman-- not Batgirl or Batwoman. They aren't as cool as the female Batman. Ya digg? Lolz *Nolia Clap Remix by Juve and others* Anyways, my outfit was pretty dope. All black. Black spandex (that I miraculously got away with),a black top with a black zippered hoodie, black boots (I swear, I bought these boots in like November or October and then see another girl wear them. She looked like a prostitute so I never wore them again.) and of course, my Batman cape.*Slow Motion by Juvenile* My mask was amazing. It took me ten minutes to put it on. Get this: my mask was made out of eyeliner. Legitly. I drew it on and coloured it in. 'Twas quite amazing. Hella special.
Tomorrow is Nerd Day and needless to say, I'm going all out. My glasses are amazing. (I feel like I've said this before.) Anyways, the next day is 80's day in which I will be amazing. Duh. Lolz.
Ok. Going out of order. Quail Man. You remember him from Doug?Quail Man So my Track Coach/ U.S. History teacher was Quail Man today. It was pretty amazing. Throwback to when I was like 11. 'Twas great.
Mixtapes are amazing. Datpiff.com is amazing.
Been listening to Darren Isaiah and others. New Faces of Rap Vol 1 is dope and The Anti-Social mixtape and the 10 others I downloaded yesterday.

Gotta go.
Until Next Time,

Poetry*

This is a paper/speech that I wrote yesterday for English class. I feel that it is poetic in itself.

I believe that poetry is everything and anything. Some people say that poetry is art. Some say that poetry is an escape or a mouthpiece for emotions. Poetry is all that and so much more.

Needless to say, I enjoy poetry.

Track, Vent, Soups On and Such

Ugh. Do you want know what that is for? That is the sound I make when I think about the track meet on Thursday. Don't get me wrong, I love track meets. But my wonderful coach/U.S. history teacher put my hero (Bri) in the 100 and 200m. If she runs those races, I will not get a varsity letter. She's amazingly fast but she does middle distance: 400-800. She even complained about being put in the short sprints. *Life by D. Julien ft. RnB* I can't run in a race with her. I mean my times aren't school record breaking but I'm pretty decent. With other racers I'd be motivated to run my fastest. But if I run against my hero I'm gonna walk the damn track. Seriously though, she's too fast for me to run against. I don't know her exact hundred time but judging from how far ahead of me she always is I'd say its around 12.8-13.4 seconds.*Brand New by Drake* My time is around 14.6 or something like that. I am no where as fast as she. Not at all. But I AM excited about our four by one relay team. We are point something seconds away from breaking a school record. Our goal this year is to break it. I feel that we can. Plus I run faster in four by one than the hundred. weird. I guess its because I love the relay more.*A Millie Remix by Asher Roth* If I didn't also like the 200 I would only do the relay. But alas.
So, I'm back to the state I was in only a week ago. SMH. I hate this. Two guys already? Wow.
So I'm sitting here at Soups On, a soup place down the block from my school. I LOVE their soups. They're so good. So I decided on my way over here that I will make it a habit to come here every Sunday after lunch to drink/eat soup and surf the net. *Noila Clap Re-Remix by Bun B, Juve, Skip,Slim Thug and Wacko* Plus their customer service is great. The guy is kind and such. Its a wonderful place to chill.
I just remembered that I need to find a mixtape called the Napalm 2 by DJ Rondevu. I'll go search for it now.

Well, I'm gonna tr3ys it. So, until next time,

Tanning, The 80's, Currently Listening To... and Such

I know I haven't updated in a bit. Sorry about that (Chris). I've been very busy lately. Currently, I am sitting in a tanning salon. No, I am not getting a tan. My roomie is. She came back from Long beach a couple weeks ago with a tan and figured she'd keep it up. I kinda feel odd sitting here but ,alas, who cares? I'm getting free wireless and catching up on stuff.*Currently Listening to: A Yo by Method Man ft. Redman*
So next week at school we have Spirit Week. The days go as follows: Twin Day(as per tradition, the whole senior class dresses alike),Super Hero/Villain Day, Nerd Day, Decade Day(we seniors have the 80's), and Class Colour Day(Blue). (BTW, my leg is asleep. Just saying.) I plan to go all out for Decade day and my glasses for Nerd Day are amazing. The are nerdly sexy. The thing is, I think I'd wear them out. I think.
For Super Hero/ Villain day I'm going to wear my Batman cape from Six Flags. SEXY!!!* Currently Listening To: I Love College by Asher Roth* For Class Colour day I'm going to wear jeans and my Dr. Seuss t shirt. I'll have pictures after. I think.
Ok, so I feel that my taste in music is amazing. I think I've said that already. dig Daddy Kane, Charlie, Cudi, Jiggaman, Esco. My taste in music is dope. I feel that I can be defined as a true raphead. I mean, I like good music, not BS. I can't stand BS music. I was planning a school party withe the Activities Committee and John said that he had Chicken Noodle Soup and Crank That and such songs. I told him that when they played i would walk out. I've done it before. I just can't stand it. I rather listen to music that has some type of meaning to it. Some type of amazing lyricism. I'm a no- nonsense raphead. I love it. *Still Got It For Cheap by Clinton Sparks ft. Clipse**Legacy by J.Means, Isa and Charles Hamilton*
Tomorrow, I will post a poetry thing that I did for class. Naturally, I love poetry. Some of my favourite poets are John Donne, Robert Frost and Langston Hughes. I startes writing an essay about what I believe about poetry for class. I think I'll post that too. Maybe. *So Fresh, So Fly by B/A,J.Means,and Show Tufli* <--I love this song!!!!

Also, You MUST watch The Office. Its amazing. I love Creed and Jim and Dwight. Amazing show. anywho, I'll post later. My roomie is done tanning and we're leaving now.

So until next time.....*Night & Day by Show TuFli(Demevolist)*

Songwriting, Haters and Jews

So V-Lo is back to writing. I wrote (thought of actually) an illy hook in the shower last night. Because I don't carry a paper and pen into the shower with me on a normal basis I forgot the original melody. (Although it would make more sense for me to forget the words...Nvm me..I'm special like that.) I then found a recording thingy on my laptop so I was like I can record some stuff so I don't forget little melodies or words or anything. BUT I then find out that it records very lowly and when I increase the recording volume it picks up every little background noise (White noise? LOLz). I'll need a mic.. or I'll just find time to get over to StarStruck Studios and record some tracks. Yes... I must have no excuse now. CITY GET AT ME!!! lolz

Hating. What is hating? (This is for you Gilley..) From my point of view disliking a person/artist/music genre/geographical location etc. is not hating. If there is a plausable reason for the dislike. I respect peoples opinion for the most part. If you back up your opinion then I'll respect it. If you just say 'I don't like ArtistA just because,' I will impose my opinion on you until you either give to in and accept my opinion or give me a plausable reason for your dislike. Dislike does not equal hate. Point blank.

So, today, we were talking about Jews in Bible today. Keith said that a Reform Judaic(?) Rabbi stated that he had atheists in his congregation. How can you be a religious Jew( believing id God and the old Testement and such) and be an atheist at the same time? That's like being a Christian and an atheist at the same time. How does thateven work? How do you feel about that? Do you think that is plausable in any way, shape or form?

Until Next Time,

Creepers, Millionares, Studios and FaceBook

Why are there creeprers in the world? I don't like creepers. If they must exist, they should not come in contact with the Amazing V-Lo. Joking about the amazing part though I do get such comments from my fans friends. But seriously, why must creepers speak to me? I was on the bus coming home from my Times Square voyage and a man was getting off the bus. He looked at me sitting in the back, turned around and satright back down. The whole ride, he sat and stared at me. CREEPER! I was sitting and trying to read my GQ in peace but couldn't cuz this man was staring me down. All I wanted to do was to learn how men should apply their cologne but I didn't because my mind felt this creeper man staring at me. Then, my stop came. Yes. Now I get to get away from this creeper of a human being. As I get up to get off the bus HE TRIES TO GRAB MY HAND!!! Had I not been listening to some Kirk Franklin throwbacks, I would have backhanded him. This man doesn't know me. Why in George Bush's name is he trying to touch me? I gave him a look and he had the nerve to say "Good night." That would have been the last thing he said if he had tried something funny. Like following me or some crazy thing like that. SMH.

I get off, thinking that i'm done with creeper encounters for the night. Not at all. As I walk my normal quick pace for nights in Bed-Stuy, some younger creeper runs up to me and says "Gimme yuh numbah!" The hell i look like giving you my number? The hell you running up to females in the middle of the night for asking for they numbers? Did you expect me to say "Ok..Its 1347-123-4567"? This dude has to be tripping. SMH @ creepers.

So lets backtrack a bout two hours. SLUMDOG MILLIONARE!!! OMg, it was so good. I almost cried. It was cute, touching, profound, amazing and all that other good stuff. You MUST see this movie.

This post was supoosed to be a bit longer but then I was reminded about daylight savings. UGH...I thought it was 2.19 when it was really 2:19... And I have to get up for church in the morning.

So until next time,

Religion, Soulja Boy, New Music and Chris Brown

So, I was driving with my father and we were listening to a radio station where some guy (who's name eludes me at the moment) was talkng about false techings of top named preachers like Crefflo Dollar and Joyce Meyers and such people. He played some clips of teachings while he was answering a lady's question. After listening to this broadcast, I was left with questions. How can you call yourself a Christian if you do not believe that Jesus is God? How the hell can you say that we are the exact splitting image of God? If we were there would be no sin because if we were the exact splitting image we would also have the same nature. How can you sleep at nigt knowing you give people false hope by adulturating, soliciting and prostituting miracles? I'm not one to constantly argue religion with anyone but I just didn't see how people could be presented with such information and accept it. From my point of view, Jesus is God, not some mere prophet or simple man, because he did things that no rophet or simple man did before him or after him. Supernatural things. He resurrected, he turned water into wine, he healed a child without even going near them. We are NOT little replicas of God as Crefflo says we are. How can we be if we sin? That would make God sinful also. That would also mean that we have supernatural power like that of God. But since God doesn't sin and we don't have supernatuaral powers, weare not replicas or duplicates of God. Point blank. Now lastly, on to Mr. Benny Hinn. I never really liked the guy from the beginning. Nowa man told the brodcast man, I'll call him BCMan, that his wife was suffering from an inoperable brain tumor that was beginning to impair her vision and made everyday activities paiful. He told BCMan that his wife wanted to go to Benny Hinn because she saw all the 'healing' that he was doing. When they got there, they were pushed into a different prayer line that had, not Benny, but some other man, praying for people. The man with the wife said that the prayer man said a praye that was the equivalent of saying 'Bless you' after a sneeze and sent the couple away. All while the big theatrics were gong on on stage with people jumpig out of wheelchairs and throwing away cane and such. There is no way that a man on Earth can perform more miracle than Jesus did. And the fact that Benny Hinn heals somany people on a regular basis gives people false hope. God has reasons for everything, even keeping people sick. He could use a sick peson to help other people. Not everyone that wants to be healed will be healed. Jesus didn't go round to every blind, deaf, dumb and lepered person in Jerusalem and heal them. Some people are in the state of sickness that they are in because of sin and there is no way that you can pray "God, please remove this deserved consequence of my sin." and expect God to say "Yes, Johnbob Smith, I will go against what I told people to write in the Bible." Life doesn't work that way. You reap what you sow. The wages of sin is death and so forth. Enough with this.

Ok..So I had another argument discussion about SB. This person thinks that SB is hip hop. He is not. He said it himself. I am not a hater because 1)I just don't like him, 2)He did not work hard for his money and 3) Quite frankly, I don't care how much money he has. His music, is not hip hop. Its blasphemy to call it hip hop. If frikkin Biggy or Pac were alive today, SB would not sell records. He would not have a record deal. He would not do music. I wonder why the people that are always on the other side of ths debate are always Southerners... Coinkydink? I think not.

A friend just sent me this link on FB. Now I'm not a violent peson but this amused the shxt outta me. Its fkkin hilarious. "Abuse the Pretty Boy RnB Crooner" LMAO..Got that from the NYT article...But seriously, this link is amazing....

This happened a week ago but I finished a book called The Good Guy by Dean Koontz. Great book. I was supposed to give it to Elmo, and there are like 3 other people waiting to read it. Its pretty good. The mercenary killer guy is legitly messed up in the head. Oh you just have to read it if you love a good thriller.

MALES THAT HIT FEMALES GO TO JAIL. Just thought I'd put it out there.

Tomorrow (later today actually) I'm suposed to be going to check out a studio with an old buddy from elementary school to jr high. He's a rapper. Does pretty decent music. If I could pull a link for him out of my ass I would but I can't remember any of them. Another friend from Jr. High is also an artist. But he is really up there and plans to do big things with his muscal talents. His name is D.Julien. The last mixtpe he put out on Feb. 18th was really good (trying to stop using the phrase pretty dope too much even though it was). The funny thing about the situation with me liking his music for the most part, is the fact that in jr. high, me and my boys used to tell him and his boys that he was whack and garbage and such. But look, now he's doing big thingsalready and I havent ven gotten to record one track yet. He's the only one going somewhere with his music. He's very focused.

After that, I'm supossed to be going to my favourite place ever....Times Square. I wanna go see a move but I'm not sure which one I should see. There's Slumdog, Coraline, Gran Torino (has high priority), Watchmen and Madea Goes to Jail. I'm leaning towards Gran Torino because the last time I went to go see it, it was sold out. I'm hearing that Coraline and Slumdog are pretty good also. I guess I'll decide when I get there.

It's pretty late/early...I'm still waiting for that email even though I feel the answer will be no...It will be OK with me if it is. But I still have to fnd a person regardless. First criteria: Must be 5'11 or taller. =P

Sad to say, this will be on of my last regular posts. I'm back to school on Sunday afternoon and that means irregular type posts or just Wednesday posts. I'll probaby do a big huge post tomorrow when I return from TS during the time when I should be packing for schol..lolz

Anyways, I'm tired so until next time,

YouTube Addiction

Just some videos...

I'm done for now but more may come later....Sorry..I'm hella bored.

V-Lo is a Genius

No, really, I am. Wanna know why? You remeber how I told you that I asked Charles Hamilton to prom? Well, I actually didn't ask him. More curiosity...Here's why. BECAUSE I SENT THE FKKIN EMAIL TO THE WRONG FKKING ADDRESS. So I've basicly been waiting for two days for an email that never got sent to the intended recipient. Good job V-Lo, way to go. SMH.

On a lighter note, I asked one of my friends who I went to jr. high with and who went ot high school with Charlie to put in a good word for me. I don't want to come across as some completely random groupie-creeper type person. So now all I can do is wait for an answer....I was just thinking about what it would be like hanging out with Charlie. (I'm mad I'm calling the dude 'Charlie' like we all coolio and shxt..lolz)Asking him questions... Just listening to what he has to say...Or spit, cuz he's nice....Just sitting next to him would be dope.

So I just wrote a paper on the Transatlantic Slave Trade in about 40 mins... For my bestie (Shhh! Don't tell!) He was just graced with my beautiful, B+ getting, BS. I swear, I'm the best bullshxtter ever when it comes to writing papers. SBS will teach you how to perfect that skill. I don't think I've read a whole book for school in my high school career (Minus Cantenbury Tales) and I've never gotten lower than a B on any of my papers for them. (Except for the Sir Gawain and the Green Knight(Giant) and the Hamlet paper that I did 30 mins before class.) He WILL get at least a b on this paper...Cuz I wrote it and my work is quality. I produce only the highest quality of bullshxt. LMAO

Ok..So I went shopping today. My aunt spoils me because she never has me spend money. She pays for everything. So we're in Manhattan, walking into every handbag shop we can and I, being so frikking picky, don't see anythin that I love. Just a few pieces here and there that spark my interest. We wal into a jewlery shop and she's like 'Get a ring.' Now there are all these nice silver rings and such but again, i'm so frikking picky that I done see anything I like. It's not htat the rings were ugly or anything. Its just that they were so blingy and I'm not the type of person that will were big stones and shxt to be noticed... I like attention, don't get me wrong. But this would be too much. So we go into a Gucci store. Nice bags. Cute and such. But I have this one style in my head so nothing looks good to me at the moment. So we leave. This goes on for hours. Then we go to 34th Street. We go into Strawberry('s?) and I see a bag that I LOVE... Now I'm not one for big name brand things, especially for bags but this House of Dereon bag caught my eye...It was gorgy. I loved it. And I especially wanted to get it since it was the only bag I'd seen all day that I loved. It was on sale for 60 something. I showed my aunt. "Oh. I saw that same bag on sale in Brooklyn for 40. We'll go there now." So we come to Brooklyn. And you know what? THE STORE DIDN'T HAVE MY DEREON BAG!!!! I was quite upset. "Go look in BlahBlahStore. They might have a bag you like." I go to BlahBlahStore and naturally they have nothing I want because they don't have my Dereon bag. I couldn't even go back to the store to get it because my parents called and told me they left the kids home so I had to hurry up to get there. Ugh....I want my Dereon bag.

At any length, I might never see that bag again...unless i order it online...I'll look for it...Just to ease my soul. I'm crazy... I need to stop.

Atthis moment kimberley, aka Snowbunny, I calling me a creeper. i wonderwhy she calls me that everytime I bring up Charlies name? Hmmm... The answer eludes me.

Well, its pretty late (or early depending on how you look at time) and I have some sleeping and eazy dreaming to do....

So until next time

Last Night (Early This Moring Actually)

So I caught Charles Hamilton on Carson Day at 1:37 AM this morning. He performed Brooklyn Girls, did and interveiw with Carson (Who had no idea who he was prior to his producers telling him that Charlie was gonna be on) and then he performed Loser, which I now love. Charlie is a dope man, legitly. Anyways, people are calling Charlie and his contemporaries (if that is the appropiate word) Hip Hop 2.0. Really? I feel that he's just real hip hop. But thats just my POV.

Anyways, about the performances. I could tell that Charlie was excited. Carson said it was his first TV performance and I kinda believe him cuz I havent seen Charlie on any other show. Well, Charlie was performing with his band, DJ Skee (who I must say looked hella bored) and Show Tufli. It was pretty nicce. Chalrie was hype, Tufli was nice. I'm just waiting for the day that Charlie does a show in Brooklyn. THAT would be the dopes shxt ever. (It would also be dope if he said yes. I'm still waiting for an answer.)

So I'm off to Manhattan today with my favourite aunt to go shopping. Gotta get ready for track season and spring freshness. Speaking of track, my 4by1 relay team is about a half second away from breaking a school record. Our goal is to break it before te end of the season. I'm gonna get my best track experience now because if I end up going to Drexel, I won't have a legit sprinting program. LIVE IT UP!!!

Until Next time,

First Order Of Business and Such

Ok..I'm extremely excited about this mixtape....I waited almost a week I think for this second disc to the tape and now I have it. And when I tell you that this Demevolist tape is dope, it is pretty dope. Show Tufli, Charlie, Bagdad (Who I loved since 'Let Me Live'), Proven(Who I kinda fell in love with after hearing 'Talk About Me'), J.Means, Yung Nate, Fidel,.....These men are DOPE, all caps, bolded and everything..... now I may look like some type of creeper fiend, but that I am not. V-Lo just loves good music and good music is so hard to come by nowadays, especially with all these new artists around. I have respect for these real dope rappers. How can I not? They make me happy. Music makes me happy. When I DLed the second disc last night (actually 12 something this morning) I could not wait to listen to it. Night & Day is my favoutie track on this disc so far. Talk About Me is my favoutire track on the first disc.

I JUST MADE UP A WORD TO DESCRIBE SUCH DOPENESS AND WAS JUST TOLD BY EaZy NOT TO SAY IT AGAIN... BUT ALAS, I AM A STUBBORN SOUL AND I WILL SAY IT: DOPESTROSITY (sorry about the caps. I was IMing in caps and 4got to take it of...Move on)

Ok...So I found this crazy video on YouTube of Charles Hamilton freestyling on some West Coast radio station with DJ Skee...People asked if he could rap and homie just started freestyling off the dome! Damn, any other rappre woulda been like "Of course I can rap. Don't oyu listen to my music?" But Charlies frikking freestyled for like, hella minutes. I knew he was my new favourite rapper for a reason. World Debut of Charles Hamilton

Speaking of Charles Hamilton, I kinda did something.....different. I might have asked him to prom. Now I know that it looks like creeper status bahavior but its nothing like that. I said that I was going to as a joke and I got more than a few people telling me thatI should go through with it. so I did. I mean, whats the worst that can happen? Even if he says nt, I can still say that I asked him, right? And if he says yes, I will have the dopest prom experience ever. So there, nothing to lose and so much to gain in the event he accepts my proposal.

Ok, so I can tell this is gonna be a pretty long post (I think) cuz i hagve much to talk about. ( I would get on my Proven status and Talk About Me but that would make me seem a bit too self centered. =P)

Anyways, I don't dislike Soulja Boy Tell 'Em to the degree that I used to. No, i haven't started to like his music and I still don't think he should have a recording contract. The thing that has decreased my dispisement (is that a word?) of him is this video. He did a radio interview with DJ Skee and here it goes. I am now content with the fact that he knows he is not real hip hop. I will not waste any further energy on this small child.

Just a thought:--> Chris Brown will forever be known for hitting a female. Not even just hitting her. Beating the shxt out of her. No one will forget it and it will always be brought up. Big L Chris, big L.

Back to my favourite subject: Music. I feel that I am like an advertisment agaent for good music. I have introduced most of my friends to Charles Hamilton, Demevolist, Asher Roth, B.o.B, Kid Cudi, and such people. I've brought ome people back to liking older rappers like WuTang, Ice Cube, Eric B and Rakim..... I feel like I've done some good work. I've already given alot of my friends a few of my Charlie tapes and this new Demevolist tape. I love how I'm spreading the word of good music.

Thats all until later....

Ok, you can say that I am obsessed. I just might be. But I hav all reason to be. This kid is amazing. I've been listening to him for two days strait....I have all his mixtapes....I like, wanna legitly meet this kid and ask him how he has the energy to put out THREE mixtapes in ONE month. I mean, wow. I have no words, at all. You are dope Charles Hamilton. Maybe even doper than me. LOLz...
I'm currently listening to Talk About Me off the Demevolist mixtape. DOPE! I don't think I've ever been obsessed with an artist like this (except for the Jiggaman, Nas....) I Am Not A Black American

I love how every year when Martin Luther King Day or Black History month comes around I am never asked to be a part of the few Black students that are called together to honour "Black heroes" in song or spoken word. But, after realizing this this past Monday, I thought to myself, "Would I even agree to singing 'Life Every Voice' with seven other Black children?" Nope. If I were asked to do anything for anything pertaining to Black history I would probably decline the offer.
Things like that are separating and quite frankly that is what 'our Black heroes' fought and gave their lives for. In my opinion we should move on. I'm not saying that we should forget people like MLK who have paved the way for equality. But I feel that MLK and the likes of him fought and laid down their lives in order for us to be unified as Americans. Not White Americans or Black and Hispanic Americans but just Americans. I may be wrong but I feel that constantly bringing up Blackness and whatnot undermines those sacrifices. It takes away from the American unity. The words of that great American song goes 'I'm proud to be an American.' Not a Black or White American but American. Let us exercise and take advantage of the freedoms and unity that the Civil Rights trailblazers have fought for and just be AMERICAN.

On another topic, tomorrow is the March For Life in D.C. and I just found out that I cannot attend this wonderful event. I am quite upset. people should not kill unborn human beings just because they made a bad choice or they changed their mind about having a child. What gives anyone the right to take the life of a person? Especially a person that has no say in the matter. Foolish humans. SMH. Stop killing babies. Its selfish quite frankly.

That is all.

Transportational Suicide

So, I went to visit Drexel in Philly on Monday with the bestie Polta. I enjoyed it. The only things I did not like was that it was not in a very busy part of Philly and the dorm rooms were so tiny. While we were in orientation, Polta pointed out that there were like 70 million black men there. Of course that is something only she would realize. I can't wait till I visit Temple though. From what I hear it is much better than Drexel.

Now this post is named what it is named because of an event that transpired while we were on our way back home. A man fell in front of the train we were on. Now this was not a mistake. For eye witness accounts, he finished off his cigarette and tipped himself over the edge of the platform. Crazy.... Then we went to Brooklyn, chilled with Elmo, got a bit tipsy (Corona is the best!!) and smoked a bit. We got back to school at like 1 AM cuz we missed the train (partially my fault). All in all, i had fun.

Now, my niggy Eazy told me about a new mixtape with Charles Hamilton, Wale, Asher Roth and all those people on it... I WANT IT!!!!!! So I need to look for it or find someone that has it. I swear it is going to be illy... Just like me!!!!

I am very proud of myself. I am currently working on two songs at the same time. Rap songs. When I finish, I will either got to MikeJ or Elmo for a beat. I will try me ernest best to get them recorded. People have been waiting for me to be on a track for years. I will come through.

So I have hella homework to do so I shall stop typing now.

Deuces and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIBREEL AND MARIAH!!!!!!

Real Chance of Being Degraded

Ok. So my fellow Jamaican Tifa just told me about some Real Chance of Love episode where BayBayBay got into an argument with MILF (I've only watch this show once in my life and only know the names because she told me.) Apparently BBB pulled out the Bible and called MILF the Devil. How the hell are you on a frikking show to compete against other whores (thats what they are, if not sketels) and have the privilage to call another woman, who you are no better than, the Devil? You can't cuss people out with the Bible. What the hell is wrong with people?

Also, what pisses me of is that girls (Yes girls. Women have respect for themselves) would fight other girls, pull down other girls and degrade themselves just for a guy and then complain the they are being objectified. Bitch, if you didn't make yourself and object then you would not be objectified. Don't even go and blame rap music cuz them N.I.'s take what they get. If a bitch throw herself at him he gon take her. If a trick shows a nigga that she is easy and nasty and will do anything then he (If he is immature and cannot control himself as with alot of men) will use that to his advantage. If you show a guy what he wants easily then you get no respect. Dudes have no respect for femmes that throw themselves around. They may be happy to fkk you or enjoy the oral pleasure that you might render gracefully and with 'talent' but as far as respect and being wifey material, its a no-no.

Speaking of parents, why the hell did Real and Chance take those femmes to meet their parents? If I was a dude I'd be embarrassed to introduce femmes like that to my parents. I would be embarrassed if my parents even knew that I associated with such people. Thats horrible. And plus, the show is just a competition for who is going to be Real and Chance's main fkk friend. Do they really think that these dudes would fall in love with them? If they do then the got something  coming. Relationships that are achieved be competition don't last. They have no substance. Look at Hoops and Flavor Flav. They wasn't even together long enough to call it a relationship. Femmes need to wise up for real. They give us a bad name.

Speaking about names, why the fuck would you accept someone calling you a MILF? That is blatantly degrading. Mother I'd Love to Fkk? Why would you stand for being someone's object (there's the word again) of lust. You can't even call it desire because desire has a sensual ring to it. The man wants to fkk you. Not make love to you or even have semi-meaningful sex. He wants to just fkk you. He doesn't want you for friendship (Being fkk buddies is not a friendship) and he doesn't want you for intelligent conversation. He wants to satisfy his hormones, release some sperm and move on with is day. Point blank. There is no love in that. Real Chance at love my ass. Lets try real chance of getting degraded or Real chance of being a whore-bitch or real chance at getting fkked and then dropped like  a ball sac. Damnit, and apparently this trick has a son. That is no example to set for him. He's gonna grow up not having proper respect for women. I mean really, there is not point to this show besides watching femmes make a mess of themselves and degrade themselves. If anyone swiped a card in between their butt cheeks they should not complain. You put yourself out that way so that is the way you are going to be treated. Real talk.

On a less frustrating note, I'm cooking for the International Festival at my school. Me and four other fellow Jamaicans are putting up a table with different foods from out island. I'm also gonna put some Trini stuff on it too. Gotta represent. Lolz

ALSO, please, do yourself a favor and listen to DMX. Don't listen to the party stuff cuz most likely that the only thing you've ever listened to from him. But listen to all his albums. To the songs that did not come out as singles. DMX is real. He does not talk bullshxt. He is not one of those gangster rappers that would just rap "Im gangster so Imma kill you cuz thats how I grew up. All I do is murder murder and kill kill" and whatnot. He says some real shit. My Ukrainian made me listen to I Wish featuring Seal and told me to really listen to the words. That shxt is hard. Real talk. Don't sleep on DMX. I know he is an angry man but that's what makes his music so raw. He is up there with the greats when it comes to meaning and not just flow and general appeal. AMF...DMX caters to the general appeal: he generally appeals to me..LMAO..But for real though, listen to DMX.

Drake. Can.Sing....Very.Well. Now I did not know that until the other day. When I heard thatthis kid from frikkin Degrassi had decided to become a rapper I was kinda skeptical. Then I heard Share and Brand New (My brand new favourite song) and fell in love with him. Besides his lyricism, I love that he doesn't claim to be what he is not like half the rappers these days. He's from Canada and was an actor. He's not a thug and didn't get shot at (in real life) and he didn't grow up eating bread and bolonga (I don't even know how to spell that). He's real. The number one quality I look for in an artist. Plus, he's decent looking. Drake has my vote for new artist of the year...along with Charles Hamilton, Asher Roth and B.o.B. Oh..Speaking of B.oB, go look up "I'll Be In The Sky" and "Haterz Everywhere We Go". Theses are some good joints. If you love Outkast (How can you not?) then you will love B.o.B.

Lastly, I think, I wrote a rhyme today...I'm quite proud of myself. Not because it was great or anything but because I actually wrote something. If I just keep writing in little spurts when I have time, such as in U.S. or Math 12, then I can get somewhere with my music and make people proud (ie, Elmo, City, Eazy and etc.)

Anyways, I got hella HW to read and whatnot so Imma deuce it......So../

DEUCES!!!!!!!!

Tears Of The Bittersweet Variety

Today was the most wonderfulest day. Besides not being allowed into my elementary school because I forgot my I.D., I had fun. I gotto Ford at frikkin 7th period. Mr. Sued has not changed. Assoon as he saw my visitor sticker he said "You cannot go to teacher's classrooms while they are teaching. And don't go into the lunchroom." Asshole. But of course, I went into the lunchroom where I was greated by the coolest English teacher in the world besides Mez, Mr. Shamoun. He asked me what I was doing there again (I went in November, remember?) and I explained to him that I had no life and that I was going back to school today. He laughed at me. Then, my secondary greeting came from one of the sexiest men I've ever met in my life. My ex, Ty. After we hugged I looked around the lunchroom to see who else I knew (all in vain cuz I'm blind as fkk) and then I asked him who had a free then. He took me overto the senior section..AND I SAW BEN!!!! "What the fkk are you doing here?" The natural Fordian response to visitors..lmao... We talked about the shxtload of people that got kicked out after I left. One dude got kicked out for tagging the school and then writing his tag on a test. Smartass. Another dude put Tylenol inthis femme's drink and woulde've gotten away with it but he was snitched on. Then the convo moved to the Jizzed In My Pants video, the Dick in a Box video, lesbians, some kid that loves to make a fool of himself and more lesbians. Apperantly half the people thatI told about me going to boarding school think that its all girls and that I'm going to or have started to become a lesbian (Although Ty has been calling me a lesbo since 9th grade).

I miss Ford. Not because of the teacher or even the school itself, but because of my friends. Joey and Ty and Ben and Maria and Tiffany and Darrel ( who doesn't remember anyone at all) and Christian and all those other people. I really miss them. If I could have found a way to bring them to Stony Brook ith me then I would have. Also, I realize that if I had never left Ford I would probably still be going out with Ty (who I miss so much...Damn he's a sexy beast...). But alas, que sera sera....What will be will be. Actually for this tense it would be qu'est, est....Seven years of French baby!!!!

Back to school tonight and I have a shxtload of songs to share with my buddies. WuTang, Charles Hamilton, Blu, Drake, Jadakiss, Big Daddy Kane, Ice Cube and more...I also got some intrumental cuz Elmo wants to do a song with me. Its called Agreement and I have hot find a proper beat so I can start writing to it.

Speaking of writing, I PROMISE to write way more this year. After next wweek or so, I will have way more time than ever before to write. I shall not disappoint.

Sadly, this will be my last daily post. I hate my schools fkking filtered internet. WTF harm can a blog do? I'm sure students are smart enough to make wise decissions. Assbitches. Even if someone did something bad b/c of a blog, thats they fault, not yours. Did I mention that I hate the schools internet filter? Shxt.

Anyways, just so you don't cry because of my upcoming irregularity, here are some videos that will give you a headache b/c you're trying hard not to laugh out loud like a fool...Enjoy =)

So..Dueces Jibreel!!!!

I Thought I Named This Before...Oh Well

Today (technically yesterday) was a good day. T'was. I went to church (where I shalln't attend after November 27, 2009), and then went to the grandparents house. Boy do those people love me. More Vicky Shh-Don't Tell Nobody (Sheri insider) stuff, alcoholic beverages and best of all...MONEY!!!! That is going towards my class ring...But thats besides the point. Its not everyday you leave your grandparents house with a check. LMAO

Anyways..My bestie loves me to death. Those are his own words...Actually his words were "I love you to death" but you get the point. I smiled like a little girl when he told me that. =)...{{Side note:Why dsnt blogger have smilies???}}

I. Love. Elmo. Now you may think I'm talking about the Seseame Street character, whom I do have love for but I am not... I am talking about my friend Edwin. I've known this dude since 6th or 7th grade (most likely 7th). He is an upcoming artist and whileI was telling him about me not having time to write he encouraged me. Matter fact, he's alweays encouraging me when it comes to music . [BTW I was just told by Elmo that it was 6th grade.]
Da Convo:
Elmo(12:17:01 AM): Lmao u retarded
V-Lo (12:17:23 AM): thankies!!! i have nothing to do with my life...not my fault
Elmo (12:19:51 AM): Its ok help will kome
V-Lo (12:20:09 AM): dont look like it...

V-Lo (12:22:23 AM): hmm..time seems to not want me to make musik....but i'll try....
Elmo (12:24:53 AM): NOOO U GON DO IT
Elmo (12:24:58 AM): Wat do u like doin

V-Lo (12:25:40 AM): i like..skratch that..I LOVE musik....
V-Lo (12:26:01 AM): um..wat drives me is encouragement and knowing i'll be proud of my finished project
Elmo (12:28:13 AM): Ok so y don't u keep goin shit me? Wen I write a song an read it ova I ß like ight kool wen I put it down an da trak done? I ß mad hype like ayyyy u u gotta start writin again any free time start writin

Elmo (12:33:01 AM): Lol don't do dat an its ok ill help u out wit dat ight?

So I have people backing me up, tryna make sure I don't waste my talent. Even my motherwas like 'I don't hear you singing anymore.' Don't worry people. My music will be underway as soon as college stuff finishes. Time was hindering me and I willn't (that logicly is a word) allow it anymore. I shall live out my full musical potential! VIVA LA MUSICA DE V-LO!!!!!

Hey, drink green tea...Its good for you. Just saying.

So tomorrow (when I wake up later today, in like 7 or 8 hours) I'm planning on visiting my elementary school and Ford...again. I have to invite my elementary school principal to my graduation. And maybe Mr. Campanaro from Ford. I shall. So, I'll revert back to the ways of old posts and think 'What shall I weae?' Quite frankly, I kinda don't feel like going all out to look amazing. I mean its not like I'm tryna impress anybody. And the people that I would be trying to impress are already eternally impressed by me. (I didn't impress them, I left an impact.) I think I'll rock my Love146 tee shirt (white, red and black) with a black hoodie, either my dark straight jeans or these jeans that I just put on to see how they fit with my Timbs. YupyUp...That outfit it shall be...I'll spend a half hour or so with Mrs. Grinage and then head over to Ford for the rest of the academic day. So it shall be. I shall hang out with Joey and Christina in frikking Cultural Anthropology class and eat that famous Ford cookie at lunch with them. Fun fun. Aslo, I will try to remeber the names of the people whose names I have forgotten (where is my yearbook when I need it???)

Ao I'm AIMing and FBing now...as usual. This is prolly going to be one of my last constant post before I go back to school where for some reason blogs are blocked. Foolish place. I'll only be able to definately blog on Wednesdays (Did I spell that right? I have issues) and on random days when I magicly aquire unfiltered internet.

Watch this...

and this...I had to....Throw back...

AND this...

Last one then I'll duece it...I promise

Lock your doors tonight so that the Tickle Monsters don't get you.LMAO...
I am finished here tonight (this morning....

K.O.

So today wasn't very eventful. Procrastinated, printed a college form, took my sister to the hair dresser. The latter sprung up some envy. That girl has the best hair of anyone in my family. I'm mixed with black, white, indian and hispanic and it only shows in my mothers hair and my little sister's hair. After the hairdresser blew out her hair she looked at mine and shook her head. WTF?? I'm the flippin first born child and the last child gets the good hair? Fkk that save the best for the last bullshxt...Ugh...

Anyways, I also watched boxing for about 4 hours. Holyfield and Tyson. Watching ESPN Classics' presentation on ESPN2 made me realize how truely legendary the two are. I watched the Holyfield v. DeLeon fight from April 9, 1988 and laughed my as off. DeLeon was getting his ass kicked. He was against the ropes in every round....Shame shame. DeLeon looked worn down by the 5th round. I kinda felt bad for him. Then I watched a Holyfield v. Dokes fight from March 11, 1989. A much better fight. Dokes was getting some shots in but Evender was still kicking ass. After, I watched a Holyfield v. George Foreman match. I had completely forgotten that he was a boxer. Not my fault. Grills and boxing are not that closely related.lmao

Now for Tyson. 1985. Michael Johnson. K.O. but Johnson is back up on a count of 9. 38 seconds in. TKO. Tyson goes hard. What surprises me is that afterward in his interview, he sound like an inoccent man from the suburbs. Voices are devieving. This niggy is a violent ass muthableeper. He said it himself. Damn, if this niggy talks violently and acted violently (while getting paid to do so), I wonder what he raps about. This dude is (was) reckless, dangerous, and downright amazing. Tyson is arrogant without seeming cocky. I like that. Ain't nothing like a man that knows he's the best. "I refuse to be beat." he told intervievers in that vioce that sounds like he's the bad guy in a 1930's film.

Tyson/Furguson. K.O.
Zouski. K.O.
Berbick. K.O.
This guy is unstoppable...that is until Douglas. Well, every title holder has his fall.

The fight that I really loved was the Tyson Berbick fight on April 16,1986. The KO was the crazyest thing ever...Berbick got washed....Werd up G money...LMAO..He's the vid...KO @ 3:55... I love how Berick tries so hard to get up...

Amazing...

also, chack out this video...Shxt is mega hilarious...

YouTube is offish my bestie...Move over Jibreel and Kristina...LOLz...

Well, its well after 2 AM...Ok wow...its 3...nice...I have to wake up in 3 and a half hours so off I shall go...
